Yopal International Film Festival
Welcome to the Yopal International Film Festival! The F.I.C.Y. is a film festival held annually in the city of Yopal, founded by filmmakers Welmar Uscategui Gutiérrez, Diana Catalina Pérez, and social manager Amalia Gutiérrez. Our festival has as one of its main objectives the promotion of cinema and the creation of a sustainable economy in the Casanareña region.
We are proud to be part of the growing film community in Yopal and the region, and believe that cinema can be a powerful driver of economic and cultural development. Therefore, we focus on strengthening the links between the film industry and local communities, and promoting the training of new generations of filmmakers and producers in the region.
objetivo
The objective of this festival is to recognize and disseminate foreign, national and regional films of proven artistic quality, contributing to the development of the Ibero-American film industry and its knowledge in the region.
