The FICYCOLEGIADOS are an initiative of the Yopal International Film Festival (FICY) that seeks to involve students from educational institutions in workshops to raise awareness of cinematographic language, with the aim of promoting their appreciation and understanding of cinema as a form of artistic and cultural expression.
The FICYCOLEGIADOS are carried out through an open call to educational institutions in the region, where students from different educational levels, such as colleges and schools in the area, are invited to participate. Selected students have the opportunity to participate in film language awareness workshops, where they learn about basic concepts of cinematography, such as direction, production, scriptwriting, acting, production design, editing, among others.
Durante los talleres de sensibilización del lenguaje cinematográfico, los estudiantes participan en actividades prácticas que les permiten experimentar con diferentes elementos del cine, como la escritura de guiones, la dirección de escenas, la actuación, la edición, el sonido, la música y otros aspectos técnicos y creativos de la producción cinematográfica. Los estudiantes trabajan en grupos para desarrollar un producto final, que consiste en la creación de un cortometraje de un minuto de duración, conocido como «filminuto».
The FICYCOLEGIADOS seek to promote the active participation of students in the creative and educational process of cinema, stimulating their creativity, critical thinking and communication skills. At the end of the workshops, a selection of the best films produced by the students is made, which are exhibited in a special function during the Yopal International Film Festival, providing a platform for young talents to show their work and receive recognition. for their participation in this cinematographic experience.
The FICYCOLEGIADOS represent an opportunity for students from educational institutions in the region to get closer to the world of cinema, learn about its language and techniques, and develop creative and communicative skills through the production of short films. Additionally, this initiative seeks to foster appreciation for cinema as a form of artistic and cultural expression, promoting the active participation of young people in the film industry and strengthening the link between the Yopal International Film Festival and the local educational community.
